This Privacy Policy explains how MacroCount ("the App"), provided by Nourish Labs ("we", "us", "our"), handles information. We built the App to need as little data as possible — there are no user accounts and no server operated by us that stores your personal information.
Your meal plan preferences, saved favourites, and shopping list checkmarks are stored locally on your device using standard app storage. We do not receive, see, or store this information ourselves, and it is not transmitted to any server we operate. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data removes this information permanently.
The free version of the App displays banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your advertising identifier, general device information, and ad interaction data, and may use this information consistent with its own privacy policy. We do not control what Google collects for this purpose. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/privacy. Purchasing "Remove Ads" stops the App from requesting or displaying ads.
In-app purchases (recipe packs, Remove Ads) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to verify these purchases and keep track of what you've unlocked. We do not see or store your payment details (card numbers, billing address) — these are handled entirely by Apple or Google. RevenueCat processes a device/purchase identifier to confirm entitlements; see RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for details of what they process on our behalf.
We do not operate user accounts, we do not collect your name, email, or health data ourselves, and we do not run analytics or tracking beyond what is described above. If this changes in a future version of the App, we will update this Policy first.
The App is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings (for example, "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android). Because we don't hold personal data on our own servers, most data-access or deletion requests relating to advertising or purchases need to go through Google or Apple directly, via your device's account settings. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
